I’m delighted to announce the release of my new Solstice-published mystery novel, “Murder Casts a Spell” set in Cape Town, South Africa. The fourth book in my Lysi Weston mystery series is available at amazon.com, Barnes & Noble and Solstice Publishing.
Murder casts a spell on amateur sleuth, Lysi Weston’s South African vacation when she stumbles across a body in a witch doctor’s hut. Her earthy, Harlem-born colleague, Grace Wright, insists it’s none of Lysi’s business. When an old flame, Australian Detective Maynard Christie travels 800 miles to rekindle their romance, Lysi wastes no time plunging him into her sleuthing efforts.
Lysi, with her proclivity for finding trouble, tries to unravel a murder mystery involving sorcery, gay pride and cobra venom.
Yay, you! That is the scariest cover yet, NC. Your previous covers are not nearly as “ominous” looking. 😯

Nancy, I like the job Solstice Publishing does on covers. I was nervous about it at first, but I’ve had good feedback on it from readers.

I LOVE the cover . . . but it surprised me when compared with Murder in a Teacup’s calm scene.
